Join us for a vibrant day of storytelling, performances, music and discussions in our Conservatory in partnership with The Barbican.

Gather round for powerful performances from artists across the diaspora, tracing activism and culture through song and storytelling. Our Conservatory comes alive with a dynamic programme celebrating Pan-Africanism through stories, music and shared experience with a focus on call and response drumming, movement, creative writing and making.

A panel discussion curated by The Africa Centre brings together leading voices in Pan-African activism and art to reflect on the movement’s past and present. Then, you can wind down the day with a hands-on creative workshop that invites you to respond through craft and writing.

Fostering intergenerational exchange, this event offers a space to learn, connect and come together.
