We recently announced the exciting programme in place to celebrate The Africa Centre's 60th anniversary this year. We are reminded of the huge impact that the organisation has had on the professional, community, and personal lives of so many people and organisations over the past six decades. Going through our document archives, recently catalogued at the London Metropolitan Archives, we are blown away by the breadth and depth of The Africa Centre’s impact through the years.

This has ranged from the political to the economic, from the cultural to the community, from the social to the deeply personal. As part of our celebrations, we would like to collaborate with you in collecting and curating your memories of/from The Africa Centre from back in the day.

The collection will be part of a living archive which will be one of the key legacies of this milestone year. If you are interested in contributing to this archive, we would love to hear from you.
