Malangatana Legacy Workshop

Join us for a creative workshop led by illustrator and workshop facilitator Chioma Ince.

This workshop is part of a series of activities specially designed for young people (11-18) of African and Caribbean heritage and is aimed at fostering meaningful discussions around important topics such as social justice, activism, resistance, and more. Using Malangatana as the foundation, this workshop will provide participants with the opportunity to express themselves creatively whilst understanding more about Malangatana.

Chioma Ince is an Illustrator and Workshop facilitator interested in exploring themes of politics, identity and most importantly creating and bringing to life vibrant and playful narratives. Her multi-faceted discipline engages with the materiality of storytelling in its many forms, functions, and purposes within design.
