Kaía Laurielle: 'Without Hearts, There Is No Home'

Kaia's musical style is a combination of Rnb, Electronic, Soul, and Reggae influences reflecting Kaia’s ancestral heritage and where physical homes were birthed.

The performance will take place in the lounge space and the event will last about 45 mins - 1 hour, taking the audience on a story-telling journey through the themes of home, love and belonging. The night will incorporate a live performance, storytelling, and conversations.

Kaía wants to shed light on the beauty and resilience of love within the Black community and enlighten people from different backgrounds to see the similarities in their experiences and celebrate all layers of love.

As a champion for black love, Kaia's lyrics tell the stories of those forgotten or overshadowed. She showcases the importance of redefining love with themes such as nostalgia, intimacy, and self-love and what it means in the black community.'
