Vacancy: Head of Marketing and Communications

The Africa Centre is seeking a highly skilled, organised and dynamic individual to join The Africa Centre team in a crucial role.

Working closely with and reporting to the Director, The Head of Marketing and Communications will lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s Marketing and Communications strategy, as well as ensure the day to day delivery and effectiveness of all our Communications, Marketing and Social Media.

With a rich history spanning six decades, The Africa Centre is a registered charity committed to celebrating and promoting African culture, entrepreneurship, thought leadership, education, and networking.

We are seeking to appoint a new Chair, with experience of senior leadership, non-profit governance, and cultural sector knowledge.

On July 24th, Deputy Mayor of London for Business, Rajesh Agrawal, went on a tour of London and, particularly, the places that have received funding from the Mayor’s Office’s Good Growth Fund.

The Africa Centre today, 25 March, announced details of the tendering process for the design team to deliver a bold and creative vision for its headquarters in Southwark, London.

The Africa Centre awarded £1.6m grant by Mayor of London’s Good Growth Fund

 

The Africa Centre is extremely proud to announce that as part of London Mayor Sadiq Khan’s £70m Good Growth Fund, our funding application for the further development of The Africa Centre has been successful in securing a grant of up to £1.6 million.
