24 Jul Deputy Mayor of London Pays The Africa Centre a Visit
As part of his tour of some of London’s local businesses, the Deputy Mayor of London for Business, Rajesh Agrawal, visited The Africa Centre on 24 July 2019.
The Deputy Mayor was keen to hear about developments at The Africa Centre since the organisation managed to secure £1.6m from the Mayor of London’s Good Growth Fund towards the development of our new headquarters in Southwark, London.
During his tour, the Deputy Mayor was introduced to The Africa Centre team as well as some of the entrepreneurs and creatives who use The Hub, co-working space. He said:
“London embodies the principle of unity in diversity. Our diversity and multiculturalism is one of the greatest strength of our communities. I really enjoyed visiting The Africa Centre and The Low Line and seeing first hand the amazing work they are doing.”
