Join us for an afternoon of creativity, inspiration, and collaboration with fellow writers at the Writers' Circle event! This is a unique opportunity for writers of all levels, from seasoned professionals to newcomers, to hone their skills, share their work, receive constructive feedback, and connect with like-minded individuals in a supportive and vibrant community.

Our prose-focused workshop will be led by the esteemed Sarah Ladipo Manyika FRSL. Sarah is a celebrated author of novels, short stories, and essays, and has been recognized as one of the “100 Most Influential Africans” by New African in 2022.

Sarah Ladipo Manyika has an impressive literary and philanthropic background. She has served on various nonprofit boards, including the Museum of the African Diaspora in San Francisco and the women's writing residency, Hedgebrook, where she was Board Chair. Sarah has also been a judge for numerous prestigious literary awards, such as the Goldsmiths Prize, California Book Awards, and Aspen Words Literary Prize, and she has chaired the Pan-African Etisalat Prize judges.
