Ghana: A Portrait
Photography Exhibition by Max Milligan
in collaboration with Ghana50 UK
Commissioned by the charity Nubuke Foundation, Milligan visited Ghana over a period of 18 months, taking photographs throughout the country. He captured the beauty and essence of Ghanaian culture. His visits were timed to coincide with important festivals and seasons including a visit in March 2006 to capture the eclipse of the Sun.
Following the exhibition at City Hall London in March, the Africa Centre offers a second opportunity to view Milligan's work in Central London. Both the book and individual framed photographs will be on sale throughout.
Exhibition runs from 30 th May until the end of June 2007
