28 and 29 July

The London leg of the Wole Soyinka project WS78 will take place at the Africa Centre. It starts with a lecture on “From Tigritude to Transcendence; The Conscience and Conscientiousness of Wole Soyinka” to be delivered by Professor Robert Fox on the 28th of July. Afterwards, “Home” will be staged, directed by Segun Ojewuyi. Finally on the 29th of July, there will be a dance workshop by Mr. Peter Badejo O.B.E. followed by a blues dance tea party anchored by Stanley Amah of Dance2Mesmerise. The show will be rounded off by another performance of “Home”.

Saturday 28th July
8pm – 9pm: “From Tigritude to Transcendence; The Conscience and Conscientiousness of Wole Soyinka”, an Advocacy Lecture by Prof. Robert Fox.
9pm – 10:30pm: “Home” Directed by Segun Ojewuyi

Sunday 29th July
12 noon – 2pm: Dance workshop by Peter Badejo O.B.E.
4pm – 8pm: Dance2Mesmerize presents “Big City Blues” by Stanley Amah
