Sickle Cell Anaemia in the Black Community

The Young Africa Centre invites you to a compelling evening dedicated to raising awareness about Sickle Cell Disease. Join us on Tuesday, 28 November at 6:30 pm for an insightful exploration into the background and impact of sickle cell disease within the Black community. This in-person gathering is designed to shed light on the nuances of the condition, share personal stories, and create a supportive environment for those directly affected.

Whether you have sickle cell, are a caregiver, a healthcare professional, or simply someone curious to learn more, this event is a rare chance to come together, share experiences, and contribute to building a stronger, more informed community.

Admission is free and donations are welcomed. Any donations made will go towards expanding the community events hosted by the Young Africa Centre.
