Join us for this year's Spirit of Africa Winter African Market on the weekend of the 16th and 17th of December.

Our delivery partners this year are Inspired By Africa, Wakuda, and Black and Good. We are delighted to be collaborating with them and look forward to a range of vendors across multiple floors on both days. There will also be a special food and drink menu from our resident food and beverage operator Cally Munchy.

Deelee Dube - Jazz At The Africa Centre

London-born and multi-award-winning vocal artist and songwriter Deelee Dubé will perform live at the Africa Centre. She made history as the first British Sassy Awards recipient, winning the prestigious Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition in 2016, and possesses what Jazz Times called 'a warm tone, genuine blues feeling and easy rhythmic authority'.

Our Story

Originally conceived to foster non-governmental relations between newly independent Africa and Britain, The Africa Centre's mission is to educate, connect, and advocate for Africa and its diaspora. Previously located in Covent Garden, London for over five decades, we launched our new HQ in Southwark in June 2022.
